Contemporary Color is a documentary film which intends to break the stereotypes concert movies. In this film, David Byrne happens to stage an event at the Brooklyn's Barclays Center and intends to celebrate the art of Colour Guard. Colour Guard is a synchronised dance routine which involves flags, rifles and sabers. It involves a whole process from recruiting the performers to collaborating with the original ones. It is a beautiful one-of-a-kind life event film, and the leaps it takes from the performances to the abstract are simply amazing. This movie has all those instances which will make you want to learn all about the contemporary colors, and it makes it impossible for you not to get swept up in it.
